We are looking for applications for multiple tenure-track faculty positions in the general area of robotics. The primary appointments are most likely in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE) or the Lane Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering (LCSEE), however, depending on the research expertise and interests of the successful candidates, appointments (including dual appointments) are possible in any engineering department. Specialty areas of emphasis for this search include, but are not limited to human-robot interaction, artificial intelligence, robotic manipulation, multi-agent systems, soft robotics, 3D computer vision, and space robotics. It is anticipated that these positions will be filled as early as January 2020, but no later than August 2020, at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor, depending upon the qualifications and experience of the selected applicants.
